The winter weather is fast approaching, bringing with it cold mornings and rainy days. However, it also brings better friction at the crag, log fires and CAWA’s Winter Dinner.
It will again be held at The Oxford Hotel in Leederville on Saturday 25 July 2015, in a lovely little spot with a fireplace.
If you’re someone who likes to plan ahead, you can view the current a la carte menu here. The menu includes some vegetarian options and there is flexibility to cater for gluten intolerance. Drinks can be purchased directly from the bar.
So come out of hibernation and join us for a cosy evening, telling tall stories about your climbing (and other) exploits by the fire. While this is a member event, please feel free to bring partners – yours, someone else’s or a random stranger. We don’t mind.
Join us for a drink at 6 pm, with seating for dinner at 6.30 pm.

RSVP is essential as seating is limited. Really, this is not a marketing ploy. If we exceed the limits of the reserved area then we will need time to rearrange seating.

We would like to encourage everyone to pull out all the stops, dig out your fancy duds and dress up a bit. There is no pressure but it would be lovely to see some of the ladies frock up (and the boys too if you are into that sort of thing) and guys get out of their jeans and into something spiffy (or at least a nice shirt). Let’s make it a bit special.
