• Open B Intermediate Male V4-V7, Female V3-V6
• Open A Advanced Male V6 +, Female V5 +
• Master age 40+

Youth

• Junior Born 2005 & 2006
• Youth A Born 2007 & 2008
• Youth B Born 2009 & 2010
• Youth C Born 2011 & 2012
• Youth D Born 2013 & later

Boulder Competition Format

• Junior, Youth A, Youth B BoulderJam 5 problems Finals – 4 boulders 5on/5off
• Youth C and D BoulderJam 7 problems
• Open A BoulderJam 5 problems Finals – World cup format 4:4
• Open B BoulderJam 5 problems Finals – 4 boulders 5on/5off
• Open C BoulderJam 7 problems
• Masters BoulderJam 7 problems

The 2023 WA boulder state titles is the selection event for the 2023 Open boulder nationals and the 2024 Australian Youth Sport Climbing Nationals (Boulder discipline).
