My 16yr old son is keen to start some easier climbs on rock. He’s spent some time in climbing gym. Any suggestions on way forward

Hi Geoff,
Best advice I can provide is to do a climbing course and become a regular at a gym. Mix with other climbers and join in on any trips.
The only issue here is his age.
Do you climb with him?
I can belay him at the gym but not really a climber, I plan on taking him to Perth climbing gym next week, maybe Northbridge ?
