Hi every body,

The CAWA barbecue is on this weekend, Sunday, 9 December at Point Walter, hopefully under the trees same as last year,and if so the banner will be tied to the same trees. Otherwise the banner will be nearbye and we will be with it. Can’t miss it.

There will be climbers there at 2.00pm, who can show you where Blackwall Reach is. Old shoes, sneakers are good. You might swim, you might want to!!! I have traversed this in a pair of rubber adventure sandals, but edging was tricky. Chalk optional, doesn’t help much if you go in and it turns into something like milk.

Barbecuing starts at 4 ish. Meat, soft drink, salads and rolls provided, hard drinks up to you. Non-members can join on the day or be guests of members. $10.00 a head would be nice in that case.
