What do ya use and where did you get it from?
Just picked up a Red Chili Crash Pad – the only other one I’ve seen available locally is the one Mt Designs do.
DiMemberHeck I just trust that the people standing under me will catch me. Hahaha.
KrisMemberHeaps around you just have to ask. Franklin make two awesome pads, DROP ZONE and the mother of them all the MONDO> Sea to Summit have them. Tools of the Adventure also make a couple. Ask Mainpeak, MD’s and Snowgum. They can all get there hands on stuff if you know what you want. Happy crashing
John KnightMemberHa, I asked this about two years ago, I think! (hit page down). I like to use the mattresses out of old 70s caravans, nice dense foam, grab a few and stack ’em, nice dense foam for free. One by itself aint good like a real one though.
GKMemberI can highly recommend products from Tools Of The Adventure, in paticular their pads. I’ve peeled off many a Castle Hill high ball into a TOTA “Stunt mat”, their largest model. I’ve yet to break anything on myself or the pad.
If anyone has trouble finding TOTA pads, contact Mark on info@tota.co.nz. He can point you in the right direction or maybe even get a pad to you if there are no retailers in your area.
