30th January – Kate Swain climbed the first free ascent of the old Green Beret aid route in Mountain quarry making a rough grade of 27. Very fingery and delicate climbing. Some minor glue work finished on the 1st of February by myself to assure a coulple of important holds at the grade remain intact. Glue only placed on rock fractures and in no way adds on or too holds not already part of route. If anyone knows of another first accentist of this route please contact myself or CAWA.
EmilMemberHey Richard. Where is that route? is that the bolted crack line on the buttress around left from mull-up?
Richard WoodmanMemberHi Emil!
Yes! As far as we know there has been no other accent! Any info would be appreciated

LoganMemberHey Guys,
Yeh, I am pretty sure no one has done it. It has been looked at few times but noone ever bothered to give it a go.
Awsome work Kate. It seems the Perth crew just keeps getting stronger!
See you all at the end of March
EmilMemberI know that John Pinkard equipped it in the early 90’s and i thought that either he or Shane Richardson climbed it around then. Not sure though, ill email John and find out… Either way, nice work Kate.
