My apologies to everyone if (and I obviously have) offended people. However, I don’t see the point of someone putting up a post about new climbs if they don’t give any useful information about the climbs.

    So, shall we start again?

    Hi Jay!

It’s great that you have completed your projects! Can you please give us some info about the new routes? Where are they? You mentioned one at Llama Rock – do you mean the one on the …what is it now… north-east side of the chasm? The last time I was there I noticed a red-tagged climb. Is it that one?

Looks like a mega-climb! Congrats on doing it! What’s the grade? Any beta? And the one at ‘merriden’ – do you mean Eaglestone Rock near Merridin? Where exactly at Eaglestone is it? What do you grade it at? I’d love to try them out!

Looking forwards to an update on your new climbs! Keep up the good work!

Ok Ok so I see there wasn’t much info on the route discription so here it is. Burried Alive(31) at eaglestone rock, start on the platform 3mtrs to the right of Spineless Compression climb up small spaced out holds past 6 bolts to top. Fear in Weakness(30) at Llama rock, start in the chasm to the right of Flipside, climb up diagonally to the right bust some hard moves around the arete to gain small face holds with a big move at the end. Three bolts.

Thanks for the info Jay and congrats on your new routes! I have deleted the pointless arguing now that we are back on topic.

    Hi Jay!

Thanks for putting that up, now we know!

Thirties are a bit out of my league however – too old, fat and arthritic! I’ll just have to stick to groveling up the twenties!

    regards

Buried Alive is 31? That would make it hardest climb in WA, no? Sweet.

What’s the situation with Zombie Man 31 at Statham’s? Is it still climbable with missing holds? Not that I’ve got any hope of doing it!

Isn’t there a 31 at Kalbarri called the dragon or something similar?

ZM is kaput, holds missing. Same for Ersatz.

Jay – is Buried Alive the old Kim project R of Spineless Compression?…I am a bit confused as that had 4BRs…or is it further R? Sorry to be a pest, need this for the guide. Tha.

Nice work Jay! Keen to try them when i get back. hope they arent too reachy 🙂

Ross, WA hardest (unrepeated) is Pats Dragon climb at kalbarri 32. There is Mr Gray and Lucid Dreams (31’s) at Margs which both have had more than one ascent. ZM i dont think was ever (consensus) 31 and is non-existant now anyway. Ersatz is also broken up. Think the only 30 other than Jays is Happy Stacker at Margs which has had several repeats.

Is Buried Alive route 14 in the miniguide for eaglestone? Might try it this weekend if its raining south. Also is it Buried with one ‘r’ or is it meant to be with 2 r’s playing on the word ‘burr’ (rough edge left on object)?
