Stathams Quarry – Chain Reaction Area

    Boulder Dash 16m 18*
Climb the small corner 2m right of NOD, then move into the obvious corner where the two walls meet. Follow it all the way to the roof and DBB. All trad, mostly small and medium cams. Save some small cams for the short thin crack as you approach the roof and a No4 cam fits well under the roof. Jonas Hollingworth and Rob Baker – Sep 13

Its not too bad for a quarry trad route. I had a lot of fun cleaning it. I knocked off a shed-load of rock, including a humungous 300-400kg boulder that broke into several pieces (hence the route name), to transform it from ‘certain death’ to ‘pretty safe’ however there may be a few small pieces waiting to come down so show some caution early on. Fellow traditionalists let me know what you think.

Onsighted this today. Great climb Jonas! Appreciate your effort and vision. 🙂
18 seems like a pretty good call on the grade imo.

Gave the climb a go today. Really enjoyed it! Definitely deserves the star. 18 sounds pretty good and love the bolts on the anchors
