All old carrots/expansion bolts have been removed from Sylvia to make way for new bolts. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. This climb has also been effected like Hang Ten with a large amount of soil removed from the original start point. I frankly don’t think it needs a lower bolt placed as the bouldering is quite easy to reach a nice stance to clip the first bolt.
If Gary is reading thoughts on this matter would be appreciated.
The current first bolt/carrot if you can call it that wasn’t a carrot at all. It was a basic bolt that had not been prepared and i’m assuming pushed into the hole. It came out so easy it was scary. Hope to get a photo of the offending hardware for all to see.
