having just moved to back to perth im keen to get stuck into the gyms and support local people but the vibe in the gyms here seem to be lacking a little. PLEASE TURN THE MUSIC UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also play music that will get people psyched to climb, classic rock just doesnt do it! im not saying it has to be hard trance but a little bit of tempo is not going to kill anyone. sorry to rant but im sure im not the only one who has noticed this… hope this comment is taken in good spirits and not as a negative critique. cheers

ill fourth it! though i do have to say, i asked the guys at rockface to play some system of a down from my phone once, and some dude who was climbing, NOT A WORKER THERE, just walked into the little office out the back and turned the music off! his excuse was, oh i dont like system of a down……… needless to say that i have never gone back to the staff there and asled them to change the music. but you have a point, they could play a something a ittle better than the same bob marley cd they have been for the past four odd years…….

I thought I heard christmas carols just the other day at the gym. I crank some music with explicit language and no one seems to mind. I get a bit worried when a group of ten year olds is having a party and I want to bump Crooked i or NWA, I mean I’d hate for those kids not to like NWA.
