    gday all just wondering if there were many climbs at willyabrup which can be top roped? and therefore worth the trip for someone who is just going to start leading outdoors and still neads the reasurrance of a top roping system

    Yes there are lots of climbs that can be top roped. If you get hold of the Margaret River guide book by Shane Richardson you should be able to work out which climbs are suitable for top roping prior to going there. There are now many ring bolts located at the top of climbs (not for all climbs) so anchor systems can be set up relatively easily.

    sorry to bother again but would like to know the most common sized cams if any, would be in regard to setting up the anchor system from the top

    any info would be great thanks

    Havent been down that way for a loooong time…but from memory you could probably use a range of cams…a good long tape sling comes in handy to…

    as there is several threads and boulders up top…
