We’re organising a climbing trip Labour Day long weekend to Willyabrup, Friday 2nd – Monday 5th March 2012.
We’ll be staying at the Gracetown Caravan Park. CAWA has reserved a group block of 12 unpowered camping sites at a cost of $16 per person per night for a minimum of 3 nights, Friday 2nd to Sunday 5th March. Most of you know about the campsite and its proximity to Willyabrup and other climbing areas.
I am certain there will be a lot of interest, so booking will be taken on first-come-first-served basis as the campsite is heavily booked for this coming long weekend. Alternatively, if the 12 spots are taken, you may wish to contact the Gracetown Caravan Park directly on (08) 97555301.
Of course, if you are too late in replying or wish to camp or stay elsewhere, you are welcome to do so but still participate in all the CAWA activities on this trip. There are also other camping and caravan parks in Prevelly and Margaret River.

Most will travel down on Friday 2nd March afternoon/evening, but please ensure you arrive no later than 9pm, as requested by the campsite management. That gives us the ability to get after an early start on the rock on Saturday morning.

Please note that CAWA trips are a benefit for members. Non-members who are interested in coming can join online.
All participants need to be ‘independent participants’. This means you are responsible for your own safety. Due to legal and liability issues, CAWA does not provide training. If you are an inexperienced climber, then have a chat to some of the more experienced people you know and see if they are planning to attend.
