This is the Petzl Selena. It’s Pink/Grey/Khaki. You can find a picture on the Petzl website but i’m sure your daughter will love the look of this harness. According to the Petzl website, the XS will fit waist size 58-69cm and the leg loops are 43-48cm. If you’re still unsure, i’ll be happy to let your daughter try it out.

It was a team effort Eric, but we were all happy to do our bit.

Just so everyone knows if you happen to be in the Bunbury area, we have managed to get the PCYC back up and running again. At this point it is only Thursday nights from 7 till 9 but we will hopefully expand on this if numbers are good, and going by our first night back it shouldnt be an issue. Will post an update if we get an extra night running.

    Hey Brett,

Doubt I’ll be heading down Albany way, but if you find yourself in the Perth area, feel free to give me a call on the number above.

Bump for anyone else looking for climbers around Perth. I’ve finally arrived, and have got 6 months of touring gut to start getting rid of!

Hey mate, might be able to help out with both queries,

myself and a few mates are all keen climbers, mostly trad or sports but keen for anything.

Also i’m looking for a house mate, the house is nothing flash but i’ve got one of the better boulder sheds your likely to find so that makes up for it! If you want more details email me on

Oops, thats 10,000 euro hospital, not 10mil. That may not be enough for major accidents.

When I asked recently if the South Coast guide was going to be updated the answer was a definite no. I can’t remember if I asked about the WA Rock guide but suspect that the same may apply as the comment about the other one was that there had not been enough to change to warrant the very large amount of work involved. Best way to be sure would be to contact Shane through his site and ask.

It’s at least an 18 onsight, I think. It had me cursing today, but I also think it’s one of those climbs that seems easy in retrospect (i.e., now that the moves are clear to me, I know I’ll be perhaps a little less vocal on it :)(I climb low 20s at best).

It’s exciting to have a long, juggy climb like this to play on at Statham’s – thanks for the hard work in bolting and cleaning up this climb.
